Anthony R. Leone, II, Esq. is licensed to practice law in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Anthony is an experienced litigator who has practiced in both state and federal court. His practice has ranged from complex personal injury, including nursing home negligence and medical malpractice, to First Amendment and civil rights cases, to employment discrimination, construction litigation, contract disputes, and real estate litigation. Anthony is also experienced in the areas of simple estate planning, business law, and serves as general counsel to several successful small businesses. 

Prior to opening Leone Law, LLC, Anthony was an associate litigation attorney at one of Rhode Island's foremost boutique litigation firms. He also has served as a law clerk in the Rhode Island Supreme Court Law Clerk Department where he worked closely with the trial judges throughout the state. Anthony's experience gives him an excellent understanding of the Rhode Island judicial system.

Anthony is committed to protecting our civil justice system, the right to a civil jury trial, and consumers who have been harmed as a result of another's wrongdoing. Because of this commitment, Anthony has been named to the Board of Directors for the Rhode Island Association for Justice (RIAJ) and a Rhode Island State Delegate to the American Association for Justice (AAJ).  

Anthony is active throughout the community in other ways too. He has been a leader on the Board of Directors of the Roger Williams Law Alumni Association, serving as its Vice President and Secretary, as well as a member of several committees. He has been an active member of the Roger Williams American Inn of Court, which is an organization dedicated to ethics, professionalism, and mentoring in the practice of law. Anthony is also a frequent adjunct lecturer at local colleges in their respective legal studies departments and has taught Contracts, Business, Construction, and Constitutional law in addition to civil procedure for paralegals. Additionally, Anthony serves on the Board of Directors of First Swing Rhode Island, which is dedicated to assisting handicapped and disabled persons play golf.  The Rhode Island Bar Association has asked Anthony to serve on a Task Force to enhance relations between the Bar Association and Roger Williams Law School.

Anthony is a graduate of the Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island. He received his Bachelor of Arts in political science from Villanova University and a Master of Liberal Arts from Harvard University Extension School.

When not practicing law, Anthony enjoys his time with his friends and family. He loves music, particularly jazz, but his passion is playing golf.
